For example, when we do leg press, the movement will involve quads, hamstrings, adductors or outer thighs and calves or the lunges will involve quads, hamstrings, and glutes. Sumo squats- This is one of the most basic inner thigh workout. You can perform this exercise with a dumbbell, Smith machine or barbell, the movement is just the same. Grab light barbell, starting with 30 pounds. Rest it across the shoulder like how you would do when doing normal barbell squats. Then place your feet a little wider than shoulder width with your feet pointing outwards, 45 degree outwards. Squat down slowly and move your hips to the back. Stop when your thighs are parallel to the ground and stand back up. Do 15 reps.
