Negative Calorie Diet Review. Should you follow?

Negative Calorie Diet Review. Should you follow?

The negative calorie diet is established on the make-believe that you consume food that's negative in calories. The only problem with this is fad diet is that all foods contain calories. There's no such thing as a "negative calorie food." Yup, a few foods do bring up the metabolism more than others food. For instance it demands 25-30% of the caloric value of any protein source to be digested and used by the body.

Thus a 400 calorie protein-rich meal would merely add 275-300 calories to your daily caloric consumption. The balance of those calories would be used for processing. For carbohydrates, only 6-8% of calories are needed to be processed, and for fats, it's only 2-3%.
